The Wye Canoe Challenge is an event organised on behalf of The Ultimate Trust which invests money in helping young, disadvantaged people in South Wales, the West Midlands and South West of England.

The challenge is a timed race from Glasbury to Hereford on 1st August 2010.

Entrants will set off in 5 minute intervals from 9 am and race against the clock to finish at the LeftBank in Hereford.

There will be prizes for the fastest competitor in the following categories:

Fastest Canoe (2 man or above) – 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Fastest Kayak (single person) – 1st, 2nd

There are no entry fees competitors simply have to raise a minimum of £30 for the charity.

When you hire a canoe with us we provide one boat between two people, buoyancy aids, paddles, water proof river maps and a barrel to store your dry clothes and personal items, complete with a pick up service at the end to take you back to the start.
